Information about how Deluxe Emporium handles details while you browse, save items and use a cart.
Information you provide
A cart cookie is used to keep the current Shopify cart available in the browser. Saved items are kept as local browser state and are separate from the cart. Neither feature creates a customer account.
When you continue to hosted Shopify checkout, Shopify handles the order, payment, shipping and tax information required for that checkout. Deluxe Emporium does not take payment through this website.
When you send a selling or sourcing enquiry, we store your item details, name, email and any optional phone number, notes or reference link so the authorised Deluxe Emporium owners can review and respond to your request. These records are stored on the server, not just in your browser, and are not publicly visible.
You can optionally attach product, label and reference images to a selling or sourcing enquiry. Originals are stored so authorised Deluxe Emporium owners can review them with your request. Photo links are not shown publicly. Removing a draft photo or archiving an enquiry does not physically erase stored files. Please avoid including personal, payment or account details in photographs.
Archiving a request keeps its details in the private owner inbox; it does not erase them. To ask about your information, contact Deluxe Emporium through Instagram and include your enquiry reference where possible.
Customer sign-in is handled securely by Shopify using an email verification code. Owner sign-in is a separate approved email-and-password login; owner passwords are stored as secure hashes, not readable text.
